Realistic water spray
Due to its characteristics, water spray from vehicles driving on wet roads is a harder obstacle for optical sensors than only the falling rain. This is one of many obstacles that must be overcome to reach higher levels of automated driving. To support research, test development, and validation of sensor performance AstaZero offers equipment and methods for producing water spray. We offer our customers the possibility to produce well defined water spray in a controlled and repeatable way. The spray characteristics are well-defined to mimic real-world spray from wet roads with realistic droplet sizes.
