You will form an important part of AstaZero’s rapidly growing R&D department, which currently consists of around 30 individuals with a diverse mix of ages and genders. By leading customer projects and research initiatives in collaboration with industry and academia, you will contribute to the technologies that shape tomorrow’s transportation systems and infrastructure.
In your role, you will work mostly independently while maintaining close collaboration with our research and development teams, external partners, and authorities. You will also have regular contact and cooperation with other project managers and the internal management team. Your comprehensive understanding of system characteristics and functionalities enables you to establish clear objectives and direction, aligning with AstaZero’s overall strategy and goals, even when a project description is unclear. You are also expected to contribute to the application process and the development of new research projects and business opportunities. The projects are often complex, demanding a high level of adaptability, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary technical solutions.

Your work primarily takes place at the development office in Lindholmen, with the flexibility for some remote work, and a portion of your responsibilities will be carried out at our test track outside Borås. Periodic travel may be required.
